Veterans Day

First known as Armistice Day, created in remembrance of the treaty signed to end World War I on November 11, 1918 at 11 a.m., this occasion is one of appreciation and honor for military veterans. A gathering of those who have served in the armed forces, during peacetime and conflict, joined by those who may not have served themselves and want to learn about local veterans and local military history. The museum is also proud to be a part of the Blue Star Museums network for today’s military and their families.
