Architect John Wicker helped design and build many of Greensboro’s most memorable structures. But Wicker was more than just his work; his wide-ranging interests included ongoing support of the Greensboro Historical Museum. The endowment created by his wife Ruth continues to sustain the series today. Past programs have ranged from demonstrations of the beauty and skill of decorative painting techniques, to the infectious rhythm of ragtime music, from the sights and sounds of a Civil War encampment to the story and smells of Starbucks coffee.
