Would you like to offer your group a unique experience to learn about local history? Our free summer program will bring Greensboro’s history to life. This opportunity is designed for daycare and community summer camp programs looking for an engaging excursion in Greensboro. The program consists of four stations, for up to 40 students per visit, and suitable for children in Kindergarten to 5th Grade.
When are Summer Program Visits Available?
Group Tours are available in June and July, Tuesdays through Fridays, between 10 AM and 3 PM. The program will last 1.5-2 hours.
When Should I Request to a Summer Program Visit?
Since the Summer Program is made possible by the availability of our teen volunteers, visitors are strongly encouraged to make a request three weeks before they would like to visit. This allows our staff to arrange the best possible experience for the group.
