27 Views of Greensboro Book Cover

As editor Marianne Gingher puts it, “In delightfully variant voices, twenty-seven authors deliver a chorus of resonant impressions, reflections, insights, and clear-eyed truths about Greensboro.”

27 Views of Greensboro: The Gate City in Poetry and Prose is a title to add to your bookshelf and share with friends. The collection is a chorus, with each story a fresh and unforgettable take on our city. At this event, you’ll hear from contributors including former News & Record reporter Jeri Rowe and his visit to What-A Burger, storyteller, teacher and blues musician Logie Meachum and his memories from childhood in the all-black Woodyside neighborhood, and Tina Firesheets, writer and editor of 1808: Greensboro’s Magazine, who came to Greensboro but never meant to stay. Booksigning follows.
