As you walk through the museum galleries, meet and talk with costumed interpreters portraying people who have made a difference in Greensboro and beyond. Making this event a Plus! is live music performed from 2 – 4 by students from UNCG’s Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program. Creative crafts and activities offered for families.

The UNCG Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program Quartet features David Sykes on guitar, Melvin Holland on saxophone, Genevieve Palmer on double bass and Kassem Williams on drums. This day made possible by the John J. Dortch Memorial Endowment, a gift made by the attorneys and staff of Smith Leatherwood to honor their late partner John Johnson Dortch (1930 – 1984), a talented attorney who had a strong interest in the history of his family, community and state.
