Celebrate the heritage traditions of our city’s East and Southeast Asian communities, and welcome the Year of the Pig.
Crafts, snacks and Korean dumpling demonstration in the museum lobby 1-4 pm (while supplies last).
Southeast Asian dance performances from the Montagnard American Organization and Cambodian Cultural Center of NC take place in the auditorium at 1:45, followed by a screening of the documentary “This Is My Home Now.”
A program of performances from Greensboro’s Korean community begins at 3 pm. Including musical ensembles from the Korean School of Greensboro, dancers from the Greensboro Korean American Senior Association, and a special performance on the gaygeum by Ms. Jung Mi Yun.
