The Historical Museum was founded in 1924 and opened in 1925, so the Roaring 20s are the perfect decade to celebrate!
Enjoy amazing autos from the Piedmont Car Club, dance to Wally West and the Gate City Hot 5 Jazz Band and take in silent comedies featuring Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Mack Sennett. Youngsters can make a pencil-thin moustache, bow tie, flapper headband and bracelet. You’ll want to save time to talk with interpreters in costume.
No doubt, this day will be the bee’s knees!
