Curatorial staff collect objects that support the museum’s mission to document and preserve stories about the people and events that shaped Greensboro’s history.
The permanent collections of the Museum are owned by the Greensboro Historical Museum, Inc., a nonprofit, charitable organization.
Donors are entitled to a tax deduction for the fair market value of items donated to the museum.
Museum staff cannot appraise objects for donors but can assist in making recommendations.
