Dollar, the Director of the City of Raleigh Museum, talks about his new book, Hearts Torn Asunder: Trauma in the Civil War’s Final Campaign in North Carolina with UNCG History PhD Candidate, Andrew Turner. Book sales and signing to take place following the program.

The book explores the psychological experience of Civil War soldiers and civilians during the chaotic closing weeks of the war in North Carolina, and especially Greensboro, in April 1865. Book sales and signing to take place following the program.
