DESCRIPTION:We’re ready to jump and jive again with a brand new edition of Swing Dance at the Service Club\, featuring hot tunes from the Dexter Moses Quartet featuring Lillian Faith\, cool beverages for sale from GIA\, costume contest\, and a whole lot more. \nTickets $30 ($25 for GHM Members) / Or join the Officers Club for $45. Band starts 7 pm. \nTrain ahead of time with free Swing Dance Lessons 4-5:30 pm in LeBauer Park \nSaxophonist Dexter Moses\, originally from Richmond VA\, has performed with first-rate artists such as Branford Marsalis\, Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra\, Nnenna Freelon\, Joey Calderazzo\, and many others. Lillian Faith is a gifted jazz and classical vocalist. They team up to produce music that stays true to the jazz dance tradition while reflecting life through sound. Both are alumni of North Carolina Central University’s prestigious jazz program. \n\n\nAnd don’t miss other free 1940s Flashback daytime family fun at the museum\, 11 am-4 pm.
