Lifting Our Voices: Celebrating the Opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture

Enjoy live musical performance by the Western Carolina University Inspirational Choir, enjoy refreshments and see a poster display about the Smithsonian Institution’s newest Washington, D.C. museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The commemorative poster exhibition will be on view in Greensboro from September 23 – November 13, 2016. Organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) and the new museum, “A Place for All People” highlights key artifacts on display in Washington that tell the rich and diverse story of the African American experience.
