Mary Norris Preyer Hall

Mary Norris Preyer Hall is a fixed seating auditorium with projection and audio capabilities. An ideal location to host a panel discussion, keynote speaker, presentation, or corporate training.

Meeting Room

The museum meeting room is a smaller space with tables adaptable for a board room style rectangle or classroom style. Ideal for a business or small group meeting or training.

Special arrangements can be made for rental of specific galleries, the entire museum, or the historic museum park.

Exhibit Areas

After hours access to all visit all museum exhibit galleries between 5 pm and 7:30 pm as part of rental of Reception Gallery.

$125.00 per rental ($50.00 each additional hour)

Welcome to the Gate City

After hours reception rental of the Welcome to the Gate City exhibit space on the museum’s 2nd (top) floor. Requires rental of Reception Gallery.

$250 for the first two hours; $50 per hour thereafter

Mary Lynn Richardson Park

Rental of outside Mary Lynn Richardson Historic Park.

$100 per hour; $50 additional fee if tent is used

Museum Parking Lot

Rental of museum parking lot. It is responsibility of renter to monitor lot access during the rental period.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Package A: 1-50 people
$850 for 4 hours; $150 each additional hour

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Package B: 51-100 people
$1,000 for 4 hours; $150 each additional hour

Wedding Ceremony only inside museum

Additional Fees

Surcharges apply for renting spaces after normal business hours, serving food and drink, and other special situations.

Set-up Fee (optional)

Set up tables and chairs ahead of event – $50

Food Service Fee

  • Light (hors d’oeuvres) – $25
  • Lunch/dinner – $75

After Hours Security Fee

Required security guard, $45.60 per hour with 2-hour minimum. Additional security guards may be required for larger events. Museum staff will arrange security through our City-contracted service.

Projector Use

Use of AV projector in Mary Norris Preyer Hall – $25

Cancellation Fee

Fee if the event not cancelled 24 hours prior to start of event – $25
