Theme & Activities
Each year’s Summer Program focuses on a different theme. Previous years have explored Greensboro during World War II, a Century of Mysteries, My First Election and more.
This year, bring your summer group over to the Greensboro History Museum for a America 250th celebration. Children between the ages of 5-14 can enjoy colonial activities, the historic buildings, and lessons about the American Revolution and the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. Learn about the Back Country of North Carolina during the Revolutionary War and the early formation of what becomes the United States.
