Lunar New Year Celebration

New Year celebrations begin across many parts of East and Southeast Asia starting January 22. Discover how different traditions around the Lunar New Year are celebrated in our area as community groups including the Greensboro Chinese Association, the Montagnard Dega Association and others. Drop by anytime 14 pm for performances, hands-on activities and snacks.

Have a Little Lion in your family who wants to learn more about the Year of the Rabbit? Starting at 12 pm, bring them to the museum for Lunar New Year crafts and stories. Little Lions Saturdays is a monthly program of for pre-K through 2nd graders and their families. Learn more here.
