Author Elizabeth Rosner’s 2017 memoir “Survivor Café: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory” was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and a San Francisco Chronicle Best Book of the year. In it, she connects her own family story to a broader examination of how atrocities can shape the memories of survivors’ descendants.
