First Lady Dolley Madison was born near today's Guilford College on May 20, 1768. We can think of many good reasons to stop by the museum, see our exhibition and learn about Mrs. Madison's life. But what better day to see part of a collection with national significance?

An interactive exhibition linking inspiration, creation, history and public art, in celebration of the aerial textile art installation by Janet Echelman in nearby Carolyn and Maurice LeBauer Park. On view through mid-September.
