Founder of Greensboro’s OIC (Opportunities Industrialization Center) and local organizer for Dr. King’s 1968 Poor People’s March on Washington, Williams was pastor at Mount Zion Baptist Church and New Jerusalem Cathedral and a tireless fighter for justice in Greensboro.
