Costumed interpreters share well-known and little-known stories of African Americans in Greensboro. Included in the program this year are teachers featured in the community history display Teachers on the Frontline of School Desegregation telling their own stories.
Lifted Voices is a series of living history events that bring to life people and stories from Greensboro’s past. This is a free, family-friendly program. Join us for history in first person.
