A Tartan Evening by Brandi Swarms
Learn more about, and celebrate, the influence of Scotland and Scottish people in Greensboro’s founding and development.
Tour the McNairy House by candlelight to begin, enjoy a social hour and be entertained by bagpipe music. After a ceremonial toast to a haggis and nod to Robert Burns, relax during dinner, after which you will enjoy the Greensboro College Chamber Singers and a dance by members of the Greensboro Scottish Country Dance Society.
Scottish attire welcome, whether full regalia or a touch of plaid. And by the way, Our State Carolina Tartan neckties and bowties will be available for purchase this evening for $40 each.
Hosted by Greensboro’s English Speaking Union in partnership with the Historical Museum. Tickets $35.
