Juneteenth Bike Tour: Green Book Along the Greenway

Between 1933 and 1966, “The Negro Motorist Green Book” offered African American travelers a guide to safe spaces across the US, including more than a dozen in Greensboro.  Join us to explore historical locations and currently operating Green Book sites in the Gate City on this guided, family friendly 2.5 mile ride

Tour departs 10:00 am and returns to museum by 12 pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in.

Free event but spots are limited. Register through Bicycling in Greensboro by June 21.

Bring your own bike! Or reserve a free/discounted bike that can be found on at bikegso.org/2024-history-tour

Helmets are required. If you don’t have a helmet of your own, one can be provided. Please let us know beforehand at Nicole.Lindahl@BikeGSO.org
