Museum Guild Meeting: Author Bill Slawter

Jim Schlosser, a well-known journalist in Greensboro, will interview author Bill Slawter about his book, Sit-Ins, Drive-Ins and Uncle Sam. Slawter grew up in Greensboro’s Glenwood neighborhood and attended Greensboro Senior High, and his memoir about the 1950s and ‘60s will trigger memories for all who hear him speak. Books will be available for sale after the program.

The public, as well as members of the Guild and Museum, are invited to participate. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a box lunch. Call the Museum at 336-373-2043 for additional information.
